Privacy Policy
This policy explains how CatchUpLit and its medical literature apps, including CatchUpDerm, CatchUpIM, CatchUpENT, CatchUpPsych, CatchUpPath, CatchUpAnesth and CatchUpPeds, process information when you use an app, visit our website or contact us.
Information processed by the app
- Anonymous technical account and preferences. The app stores selected topics, study designs and journals to provide a personal overview.
- On-device preferences. Language, appearance, saved and deleted articles, and notification choices may be stored on your device.
- Support messages. If you email us, we process your address and message to respond.
The CatchUp apps do not require your name and do not include advertising or third-party behavioural analytics.
Website analytics
On catchuplit.com, we ask for your consent before enabling Google Analytics. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate website use. You can decline analytics or change your choice at any time using Cookie preferences.
Service providers and sources
Supabase provides backend infrastructure. Apple processes optional in-app purchases and notification permissions. PubMed/NCBI and Europe PMC provide bibliographic literature and article links. OpenAI’s API may process publication text to prepare summaries; this does not include your identity or contact details. Google Analytics processes website analytics only when you allow it. Our email provider processes support messages.
